Do I need to provide the boots, or do you source them?

You will need to provide your own boots. If ordered online, alternatively you can have them sent directly to me, make sure that you send it with your name on the address label to ensure there are no mix ups. Alternatively, if you live locally, we can arrange a pickup or drop off.

How long does a custom order take?

Anything from 4-6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design and my current bookings. I can give you a clearer time frame once your order has been confirmed.

Can you embroider other shoe brands?

Absolutely! At the moment my work will be primarily on the side elastic of slip-on boots, including brands such as Blundstone, R.M Williams, Rossi, Aquila, Dr Martens, Redback, Steel Blue etc., but I’m open to discussing other projects - please ask!

How do I care for my embroidered shoes?

Although all designs are stitched securely, they’re made to be worn though like all handmade items, a little extra care goes a long way. If they become dirty, spot clean gently with a damp cloth and store appropriately to avoid discoloration from the sun.

How much does it cost?

All orders start at a flat rate of $250 AUD. Prices may vary based of the detail of the and complexity of the design. Custom quotes are provided once we discover your ideas.

Can I request specific flowers or existing designs?

Of course! I encourage you to inform me of any preferences in colour and design or any other elements that you would like to incorporate into the piece. However, I have the right to refuse any work that is beyond my skill level. With that being said if imitating a Coast & Country Threads design, I cannot guarantee that it will be identical. I also will not plagiarize anybody else’s work.

Can I imitate your designs?

No, you cannot imitate any of my designs. However, I do encourage any creative endeavors you wish you embark on.

Terms and conditions

By placing an order with Coast & Country Threads, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Postage and delivery

  • Coast & Country Threads is not responsible for tracking, delays or loss of items once they have been lodged with Australia Post or any other courier.

  • Time frames may vary depending of workload and complexity. Standard turnaround is 4-6 weeks from receiving your boots and the invoice has been paid in full.

Scope of work

  • I currently only accept work within Australia. However, I may explore the option of overseas work depending on demand.

  • I reserve the right to refuse work that I feel does not suit my style, skill level or business focus.

  • If alterations or changes are requested after work has begun or has been completed, these will be at the customers expense and Coast & Country Threads will not be responsible for any damage that may occur from any customer requested alterations.

  • I reserve the right to photograph completed pieces for my portfolio/ social media unless you request otherwise.

Payment and pricing

  • All prices are quoted in AUD.

  • Prices are subject to change, but confirmed quotes will be honored.

  • Orders must be confirmed via email or direct message only and are not considered final until payment is received.

Customer responsibilities

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when placing an order (including location, colours, any design or special requests).

  • Coast &Country Threads cannot be liable for mistakes that result from incorrect or incomplete details provided by the customer.

  • I recommend hand washing only, I am not responsible for damage caused by incorrect washing/ handling.

Returns and refunds

  • As each piece is custom-made and one of a kind, returns and refunds are not accepted unless the item is faulty.

  • Faults must be reported within 7 days of receiving the item, along with photographic evidence

Intellectual Property

  • All embroidery designs are original artworks created by Coast & Country Threads.

  • You may not copy, or claim the designs as your own.
